Keuka resilience community

“Progressive preppers” who see value in community building, skill sharing, and mutual aid to counterbalance economic uncertainty, climate change, and social upheaval. At ongoing meetings, we learn, discuss, and organize together. Sign up here for invites and updates.

Penn Yan Action Coalition

The Penn Yan Action Coalition (PYAC) is an advocacy group that educates the local community about immigrants’ rights and refugee issues. PYAC was founded in 2017 in response to the unjust deportation of a local migrant worker. Since then it has hosted public lectures, held a successful refugee bedding drive, and more. Since 2020, their annual community read has introduced perspectives of importance to all.

Follow them on Facebook or watch the local Penn Yan news for info on participating in the read.

Peace and Justice Committee
